Our Policy

The Council recognizes that advocacy and activism based on solid information about solutions to Black health problems are needed to mobilize Black communities to develop actionable solutions to minimize health risks and facilitate health promotion.

Our partnerships allow us to assess critical risks factors impacting healthy living, provide policy solutions to combat health issues, and empower key decision makers to forge a culture of health with our communities.


Education often relates to higher educational achievement, better jobs and income, and ultimately, better health. Education also fosters a learned effectiveness that that acts as a deterrent to poor health outcomes.
